I discover a new estate today, the Manor of Vacheresses. A very beautiful place that is stunning from the outside. The newlyweds leave the estate to go to the cathedral of Chartres for the religious ceremony. I didn't actually think it was possible to get married religiously in such a grand place! Yet it is the case and I let you discover that.

The place

A symbol of late Middle Ages architecture, the building has preserved all its authenticity over the centuries; its imposing spiral staircase, its mullioned windows, and its two exceptional watchtowers at the entrance, conical on the outside and with angled sides on the inside, are witnesses to this. A unique place, steeped in history.
